Mr. Bauman joined the firm in 2000. His practice emphasizes the defense of worker's compensation and worker's compensation coverage matters. From 1991 to 1993, he served as a referee (administrative law judge) at the Idaho Industrial Commission
where he was one of the principal drafters of the Industrial Commission's Judicial Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Mr. Bauman has handled all phases of worker's compensation litigation, including trials, mediations, and appeals. In addition, he drafts legislation and administrative regulations and testifies before the Idaho Legislature on worker's compensation and governmental law issues.
He also has experience dealing with
initiatives and referenda. He has taught worker's compensation law for the University of Idaho College of Law since 1995
and legislation beginning in 2007.
Mr. Bauman enjoys writing and spending time with his two daughters and grandson. He is an avid student of United States constitutional history and
collects classical and jazz recordings. |
